DAVID F. SAMPSON, Member

Nevada Personal Injury Attorney David has been arguing all his life. He was the captain of his speech and debate team both his junior and senior year at Mountain View High School in Arizona where he competed in many forensic events, including the Arizona State Championship Tournament. David continued his debating career in college, winning a number of speech tournaments in his freshman and sophomore year. From 1990 to 1992 David lived in The Netherlands while he served a mission for his church. After his mission David obtained his Bachelor's degree and entered law school at Brigham Young University where he competed as a member of the law school's Moot Court team. In his final year of law school David traveled to Manhattan to represent his school in the National Championship in 1998.

David is very proud of his accomplishments in the legal field thus far in his career. He began in law school working as a clerk for nationally acclaimed personal injury attorney Gerry Spence. Upon passing the bar David began practicing law in 1998 and joined CHRISTENSEN LAW OFFICES, LLC. during the summer of 1999. One of the first clients David represented for CHRISTENSEN LAW OFFICES, LLC., was a young woman who had been struck by a taxi cab and had severely injured her back. That case ultimately settled for $1,900,000.00. A few years later David procured a settlement in the amount of $4,500,000.00 on a case involving an adult care facility that left one of its patient's outside in the Las Vegas sun for a number of hours. In one of his first trials David was second-chair for Thomas Christensen in an action involving a man who was severely injured in a grocery store mishap. The ultimate judgment entered in that matter was $192,942.97. Since then David has taken a number of cases to jury trial himself for CHRISTENSEN LAW OFFICES, LLC., including a motorcycle accident case which resulted in a $593,041.93 judgment for his client. David also tried a medical malpractice action in March 2005 and procured a $394,981.76 judgment for his client. David has obtained a number of other judgments during his career, including a $250,000.00 judgment for a woman who suffered an annular tear in her back, and a $400,000.00 judgment for a young girl who had been bitten by a dog.

On a personal note David enjoys playing the guitar and the drums. He is married and has what he calls the four most wonderful daughters on the planet. Few disagree with him. David lives his life, and his law practice, by a very simple philosophy he learned while working for Gerry Spence: love those over whom you have a stewardship, do whatever it takes to get what is best for them, and everything else will fall into place. This concept has been warmly embraced by CHRISTENSEN LAW OFFICES, LLC., and has helped lead the firm to new heights in client satisfaction and financial success. David sums up his life and career thus far as follows, "I love what I do. I love the clients I work for and the people I work with, and I would never dream of asking for more."

KRISTINE JENSEN, Associate

Nevada Personal Injury AttorneyKris has loved the law since the day of her birth. In fact, her maiden name is Laws. She was born and raised in Boise, Idaho. Kris earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Brigham Young University with a minor in Elementary Education. She took a seventeen-year sabbatical to raise five children and contribute to the community in numerous ways. She served as a crisis pregnancy counselor, an unwed mother companion and coordinator, a volunteer teacher at a state mental hospital, a Boy Scouts of America leader, chairman of a political action committee, and she has served on the board of several local and national political organizations. She has lobbied everywhere from the school board to the United Nations and every point in between. It was in that political involvement that her love and desire to learn even more about the law deepened.

With four teen-aged children and an eleven-year old, Kris enrolled in law school at the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. After her first year of law school, she served a summer externship with a federal magistrate judge. As the second year commenced, she was accepted on the Nevada Law Journal. She then served as an extern and trial assistant in the United States Attorney’s Office. In her final year of school, Kris served as Nevada Law Editor in the Nevada Law Journal. After graduation Kris served as a law clerk for a district court judge. Kris proudly joined CHRISTENSEN LAW OFFICES, LLC in the summer of 2005.

On a personal note Kris enjoys hiking the high mountain lakes of Idaho, traveling anywhere and everywhere around the world, sports, cooking, politics and gardening. She is active in her church and loves working with the Young Women. Her favorite things in life are her family, her faith and good chocolate. Her philosophy in life is you were born to bless the lives of others.
